JAMB Initiates 2024 Admission Process for Tertiary Institutions

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has formally launched the admission process for the 2024 academic session in tertiary institutions nationwide. An essential policy meeting is scheduled for July 18 to finalize the admission procedures.

The meeting will assess the previous year’s admission exercise and the performance of candidates in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The Minister of Education will preside over the meeting, which will also determine the minimum admission scores.

JAMB has confirmed that all necessary arrangements are in place for a seamless admission process. The meeting will also recognize outstanding performances in tertiary admissions through the NATAP-M Awards, with cash prizes totaling N750 million.
This development brings relief to eager candidates awaiting admission into tertiary institutions for the 2024 academic session.
