Elishabawa Here are more details on the first headline about the abduction of Kaduna journalist Two journalists, Abdulgafar Alabelewe of The Nation Newspaper and AbdulRaheem Abdu of Blueprint newspaper, along with their families were abducted by bandits on July 6, 2024. The bandits invaded the community at around 10:30 pm and began shooting indiscriminately before proceeding to kidnap the journalists and their families.
The Kaduna State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has condemned the attack and appealed to the security agencies in the state to rescue the journalists and their families.
The NUJ has also called on the government to intensify efforts to ensure the security of lives and property of citizens.
The police have deployed operatives to secure the release of the kidnapped journalists and their families
