Kanayo expressed his views on Ason Rich, emphasizing that he should not be recognized as a Nollywood movie producer or actor. Kanayo described himself as a guardian of Nollywood and explained his reason for clarifying Ason Rich’s status in the industry.

The actor shared his thoughts on the recent incident at Ladipo market in Lagos where a kidnapping heist was foiled by the Nigerian police. Kanayo underscored that Ason Rich, who was identified as a leader in the kidnapping gang, had only been involved in producing a few movies and had no acting credits, thus disqualifying him from being labeled a movie producer.
