Elisha Bawa, popularly known as “Mr. Elisha,” is a visually impaired singer and songwriter whose music has captivated audiences across Nigeria and beyond. In an exclusive interview with Revelationmusik, Mr. Elisha shared insights into his life and career.

Mr. Elisha was born on July 27, 1993, to Mr. and Mrs. Bawa S. Fada. He is the fourth child in a family of five siblings. Originally from Sabon Tasha in the Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Nigeria, Mr. Elisha’s upbringing influenced his passion for music.

He attended Maranathen College for his secondary education, graduating in 2012. During his time at Maranathen College, Mr. Elisha began honing his musical talents and discovered his love for singing. He later enrolled at Abdu Gusau Polytechnic, where he pursued a degree in Mass Communication. Throughout his academic journey, Mr. Elisha remained actively involved in music, particularly as a member of the Fellowship of Christian Students (FCS) choir.

Described as humble and easy-going, Mr. Elisha’s personality resonates with his music, which often reflects themes of faith, hope, and perseverance. Despite facing challenges due to his visual impairment, he has continued to pursue his passion for music with unwavering determination.
