A senior NLC official revealed that the strike has been “paused temporarily.”

The industrial action had disrupted economic and government activities across the nation for two days.

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) have suspended their strike following a national executive council (NEC) meeting in Abuja on Tuesday.

This decision came after labour reached an agreement with the federal government on a new minimum wage on Monday.
