Police Recruitment: CBT Screening For General Duty Applicants Scheduled This Week

The Nigerian Police Force, Cross River State Command, has announced the date and venue for the General Duty applicants in the ongoing 2024 recruitment of Police Constables into the Nigeria Police Force. The JAMB-administered Computer-Based Test (CBT) for applicants shortlisted in the recently conducted physical and credentials screening exercise is scheduled for Tuesday, March 5th, and Wednesday, March 6th, 2024.

The centers for the CBT exercise include:

1. E-Library, University of Calabar.
2. National Open University of Nigeria, Calabar Study Centre, Calabar.
3. College of Education, Akamkpa (ICT Center).
4. Federal College of Education, Dr Joseph Wayas Library, Obudu.
5. FZX Media Consulting Limited, Inside Havilla University, Nde, Ikom.
6. Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH), ICT Center, Ekpo Abasi, Calabar.
7. KUNNICAPPS Academy, Old Imaje Road, Formerly Christian Secondary Commercial School, Okuku, Yala.
8. Owoche College of Health Sciences and Technology, Bewo-Bekwarra.
9. SWIFTCOM GLOBAL. Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN Secondary School), IBB Way, Calabar.

Shortlisted General Duty applicants are advised to visit the recruitment portal: https://apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng to access and print the examination invitation slip, which contains their respective dates, times, and centers for the exercise. They are also compulsorily expected to report to the centers with the invitation slip and appear in white T-shirts and shorts.

It’s essential to note that the CBT is strictly for the General Duty applicants. The date and venue of the practical examination for applicants in the Specialists cadre will soon be announced by the Recruitment Board.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Gyogon Augustine Grimah, PSC, FCAI, has wished the shortlisted General Duty applicants success in the CBT stage of the recruitment exercise. He charges them to conduct themselves appropriately and comply with the rules governing the examination. He also cautions them to be wary of job racketeers who may want to defraud them of their hard-earned money under the guise of securing the job for them, stressing that the recruitment remains absolutely free.
